Yes, there may be side effects although they are generally temporary and/or mild. The most common side effects are bruising, swelling, redness, sensitivity and tenderness. These can be managed with appropriate aftercare. Please ensure you follow the advice provided by your healthcare practitioner. Some rare complications can occur during or following your treatments such as allergy, anaphylaxis and vessel occlusion. No, your safety is our top priority. For this reason, we do not provide treatments to clients who are pregnant. We strongly advise against any cosmetic aesthetic procedures during pregnancy as a precaution, due to the limited research available on their potential effects on the unborn baby.

At Lush Aesthetics Australia, we understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel an appointment. We respectfully require at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling and cancellation of appointments. This is to ensure that our practitioners are available for all of your needs as well as the needs of all of our other clients and patients. When a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another client loses the opportunity to be seen. Therefore, Lush Aesthetics Australia requires a $50 deposit when booking an appointment. Deposits are strictly non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment and/or miss your scheduled appointment. Your deposit will be forfeited and will not be redeemable on treatments booked for a later date.

Due to governing body guidelines, we do not promote wrinkle reduction or facial volumising treatments on social media or on our website. This includes refraining from sharing before-and-after photos of services involving scheduled medications. If you would like to see our work, we invite you to book an in-person consultation, where we can showcase the aesthetic results achieved in our clinic.
